Armed with a Master of Management from Universiti Tun Abdul Razak, he possesses advanced expertise in strategic leadership, corporate governance, policy design, and organizational development.

GOVERNMENT AND STRATEGIC ROLES

Dato’ Halim Tuah has served in pivotal capacities within the Malaysian government, including as Officer to three Deputy Ministers, namely:-

  • Deputy Minister of International Trade & Industry (MITI)

  • Deputy Minister of Finance (MOF)

  • Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister’s Department (JPM)

His role expanded significantly when he was appointed Director of GST at the Prime Minister’s Department, where he spearheaded the national implementation of Malaysia’s Goods and Services Tax. In this capacity, he led cross-agency coordination, ensured regulatory preparedness, and oversaw the seamless execution of one of the country’s most transformative fiscal reforms.
