Dato' Wira Hj Masood was born 21st September 1952 in Segamat, Johor.
He has served the Malaysian Armed Forced for 38 years until his retirement in 2008.
His vast experiences and contributions to the Services and Nation saw him being conferred six/(6) Datukships from various State Government and Federal Government.
He was among the pioneer to form and developed the Malaysian Army Elite Parachute Brigades (PAC), the Malaysian Army Aviation Regiment, and the Malaysian Army Wargame Centre.
